About CGP
CGP Manufacturing has provided the Petro/chemical industry with Quality on time Pipe Fittings since 1982. Started in a small warehouse in south Houston, Mr. Jorge and Mario Garcia joined the company at that time.
It was bought in 1991 by Steve Becker. Six months later, the daughter joined while she was in college. Father, Daughter and Employees begin the work necessary to build the struggling company.
Moved from the small shop to a stand-alone facility. For the next decade, we increased the facility space and incorporated more equipment, including a press operation. During this time, we also transitioned from small, high quantity pieces, to a more custom, larger sizes.
Sadly, in 2006, Steve Becker passed away. But fortunately, with the fruits of his labor, it propelled a thriving manufacturing company. And through the passing of the torch, Michele Becker becomes owner of CGP. Together with senior staff, the company kept up the trajectory on an uptrend. This included finding a newer, larger facility to (meet customers’ needs).
In 2017, after spending much time in renovations, CGP excitedly moved into its new home. Our spacious facility with 67,000 square feet, with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. This means more space for each employee to do their job and increase productivity, along with more equipment to keep up the quality of our parts while increasing the volume of orders.
Currently we have press equipment of 150, 300, and 500 tons, High temperature Furnaces, CNC machines, manual machines, bullards, saws, plus horizontal mills, drill presses and extensive support equipment. CGP Manufactures Return bends, Elbows, Tees, Crosses, Concentric and Eccentric reducers, Caps, Stub ends, flanges, swage nipples, branch connections and all types of special per drawing products. We manufacture from a wide variety of materials: Nickel alloys, Stainless steel, Brass, Bronze, Copper nickel alloys, carbon and alloy steels, Titanium, Zirconium, Aluminum alloy.

1982
This year, CGP was established by our founders and partners.

1992
CGP Manufacturing was purchased in 1992 by Steve Becker.

2006
In 2006 Ms. Becker take the helm as President.

2007
Purchased adjacent building and property completely refurbished and joined with existing buildings to expand our available storage and work areas.

2008
Purchased new closed box furnace.
Replaced old Fork Lift and added new Vertical CNC Machining Center.
Purchased adjacent lot, created employee parking lot, and pipe lay down yard.

2009
Purchased new, more fuel efficient, larger capacity Fork Lift.
Purchased new larger capacity Closed Box Furnace and Horizontal CNC Machining Center.
Completely replaced and increased our incoming electrical service capacity.
CGP goes "Green" by contracting with "Green Mountatin Energy" to purchase only 100% renewable energy making us 100% pollution free electrical energy entity.
CGP Manufacturing acquires ISO 9001:2008 Certification.
